There are some basic configuration that you can do to the template of all sent emails from the system. It is broken down into two sections.
API Details #
This is the SendGrid API used by the system and will be set for your instance upon install. Do not update this value unless you have a new SendGrid API key of your own and wish to use that.
Sender Details #
Here you can set the following:
- Generic Sender Address – This will be the address that the recipient will see, setting this to anything but a @theeducationestablishment.com address may affect deliverability unless you are using your own SendGrid API key set up with your own domain authentication
- Generic Reply Address – This will be the address that recipients will reply to by default unless another address is specified as part of sending emails
- Email From Name – The name that will appear for the email in the recipient’s inbox
- Email Banner Colour – The email template has a banner which contains your logo, or your system name if no logo has been uploaded. This is the colour of that banner, in order colour it better with your brand
- Email Footer – This is the footer of the email and will appear at the bottom of every single email sent from the system. This can be used for further branding or to put in Facebook links etc.
