Joining siblings creates a family with the system. There is no record of half or step siblings just the linking of one pupil to another. When doing this, all of the linked contacts for both pupils will be pooled together. For this reason, it is probably best to link pupils as siblings before adding contact information for one of the records.

In order to join siblings together, use the drop down within a pupil record > Family.

To remove a link, use the delete button on the sibling card.

Pupil’s can have their own individual link to a contact. For example, one sibling may have a father who is a step father to another. This can be done after they have been linked and the contact added. Visit the pupil record for who needs a different relationship and edit the contact.
